Pros:
· Fabrication and assembly of panels is done in a controlled factory, easy to perform QA/QC
· Fast paced panel installation usually around 100 panels a day
· Minimal On-Site Labor
· Minimal Installation Cost
· Does not required scaffolds for panel installation
· Tested system and applied on most high-rise buildings world- wide
· Can accommodate building movements
Cons:
· Expensive if applied for building less than 3 floors due to extrusion requirement
· Required a highly skilled and experience contractor to use this system to be workable
Ø Stick system
Pros:
· Framing Extrusions are commercially available so need to pay new die or profile
· Most façade contractor are familiar with system
· Suitable for storefronts and small areas
Cons:
· Difficult to perform QA/QC as all part are assembled at site especially during the sealant application.
· It requires scaffolds during installation
· It is difficult to address the building movements
· Prone to water leakage
· Not ideal for high-rise buildings
